Renew started in the middle of a terrible season. I was lost and searching for help. I soon discovered that finding God centered help was difficult, expensive, and honestly felt more like a transaction than a relationship.  We all know that life is hard and confusing and sometimes we lose hope. Often this is what drives us to attend a church. Unfortunately, not all churches are equipped to help and sometimes we can get lost in the crowd instead of seen and loved. Here lies the problem. We all deeply desire to be loved, but instead of going straight to the source, we seek it from other hurting people. At Renew, we believe the love we desire so deeply, comes from God. We were created to find that love in our relationship to Him. God created us from the dirt and He meets us in the dirt but He never leaves us there. He cleans us up at the cross by offering the death of His son Jesus as payment for our sins. Then He gives us His Holy Spirit to empower us on this life long transformation process. Renew is built from the biblical truth found in Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Renew is not just counseling. Its an invitation to Gods family, to friendship, to discipleship, to joy, to hope, to love, to accountability, to encouragement, to truth, to life! Its one on one personal real time biblical discipleship. We don't believe that having God transform your mind should cost $100 an hour so it's free.
